MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Christmas Is Coming. DESCRIPTION: The Christmas shopping season is now well under way, so we have been to see some of the decorations which will transform our stores and shopping streets into fairy land. At this factory in Chesham, they’re putting the finishing touches to designs for several towns and cities, including London and Birmingham. Will it be a White Christmas? Perhaps the Three Wise Men, who’ll be keeping an eye on shoppers and crowds in London’s Regent Street, know the answer. At the Employment Fellowship in Camberwell, they’re also working for Christmas. Here, old people with young and nimble fingers are busy making Christmas crackers. It’s one of 30 centres throughout the country where the old folks can do some light work, and earn a little extra something. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
