MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Gurkhas Go to School. DESCRIPTION: A former Sergeant’s Mess at Lucknow Barracks, Tidworth, has been turned into a school for children of Gurkhas, now permanently stationed in the town. At the school’s official opening, we went along with some of the parents, and we saw a delightful concert put on by the 11-year-olds. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV class room. MS children sitting at desks.
