Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Baby Turtles. DESCRIPTION: This tropical scene on the East coast of Malaya is the background to one of nature’s tragedies, mother turtles come to the beaches and lay hundreds of eggs which they cover with sand - the only protection they can give them. 6 weeks later, if all goes well, the tiny turtles will make a break for freedom. But until man came to their aid most of the young turtles had little chance of survival. SHOTLIST: GV silhouette of palm trees. LS man putting stick in the sand. MS same.
