Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dice on the Ice. DESCRIPTION: A Le Mans - type start for a motor race on a frozen lake near Quebec is the sport which is growing in popularity with city workers at weekends. 10 laps to go in the Grand Prix. Chains or spikes (or anything like that) are strictly forbidden. And, of course, there is a winner!. Now, our pictures show a German tracked snow-bike, the first of its kind. It can carry one or two people, and has a maximum speed of about 40 miles an hour. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV start. GV ditto. GV cars pass left to right. AS race in progress. MS car. MS driver.
