Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Down - Down - Down. DESCRIPTION: This weird looking craft is a bathyscaphe, newly built in France. She’s to be called Archimede, and revolutionary features of design permit her to withstand pressures of more than a hundred and eighty thousand pounds. Her first misson will be to explore one of the deepest underwater chasms, North-East of Japan.
