Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Animals in the News. DESCRIPTION: Our pictures show a pair of puma cubs born just over a month ago. Their mother is Tess who is conveying pride and a little uncertainty as Dell and Bill face the cameras. Apparently, ostrich plumes are coming into fashion again! And we visited a farm in South Africa to find out what they are doing about it. They are speeding up production to meet the demand. Hereabout they hope to double the present total of 25,000 adult birds. Finally, meet the gay and debonair hippopotamus. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MLS photographers. MS puma cubs in hand of keepers.
