- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rocky Mountain Round Up. DESCRIPTION: Our pictures show the Yaha Tinda Ranch in Alberta, Wintering ground for horses used by the wardens of Banff National Park. From these grazing grounds, the horses begin a journey of more than 60 miles to Banff. The route takes them past places with fascinating names, like Bighorn Creek, Scotch Camp, Cascade Valley and the Panther River. The wardens’ life must be fascinating, too. Patrolling the boundaries of the National Park, which covers nearly 3,000 square miles. The corral at Banff is the end of the drive. From now till next Winter there’s work to be done.
