Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Copter Doctor. DESCRIPTION: Hong Kong’s flying doctor paid one of his fortnightly visits to outlying villages. (With a helicopter he can do in a few hours what takes days any other way). When he visited the village of Sai Wan, population 65, he took a couple of nurses with him. Everyone’s related to everyone else here, and apparently all of them wanted treatment. The service given by the Doctor and his staff, including vaccinations and inoculations, is free. Forty minutes after the landing, he’s treated his last patient. Then, it’s off to the next port of call. SHOTLIST: Key scene. LS helicopter flying over the sea - beach & mountains also seen.
