Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Boat Show. DESCRIPTION: Earls Court, and the opening of the International Boat Show, sponsored by the Daily Express. There are over 400 exhibitors, and the show is expected to draw more than 300,000 people. If you are interested in ships and the sea, there’s plenty here to attract you: a Chinese Junk, a harbour with a Mediterranean setting, frogmen giving demonstrations, and water skiing, to name just a few. Norman Wisdom was there, giving his own particular version of seamanship. It’s a fine show, packed with interest for all comers. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
