- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Mice in Space. DESCRIPTION: Mice before men, and they selected Sally, Amy and Moe to make the trip. Amy was saddled with an instrument to record her reactions during the space-flight, and the mice were placed in a miniature version of the sort of capsule that would be used for a man. The nose cone of an Atlantis missile was the carrier. And then, the time had come for the blast-off at Cape Canaveral. 5,000 miles away in the South Atlantic, they found the nose cone after the 25-mile flight was over, with the mice still alive. But weeks must elapse, before it would be known precisely how they stood the trip. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MCU mice in container. CU mouse being placed in capsule.
