Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: West Country Flooded. DESCRIPTION: Down in Devon, heavy rains in conjunction with high tides caused a general chaos. The Exe river broke its banks and flooded miles of countryside, and in many towns, streets were turned into rivers, and people had to evacuate their homes.
