- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Drain Up to Date. DESCRIPTION: This station has long been notorious for the subway known to City workers as the Drain, a nightmare for thousands of Londoners. But now they’ve got travolators, the first of their type in the world: two continuous flat platforms that can carry ten thousand people an hour.
