Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fiesta in Canada. DESCRIPTION: It’s a town called Flin Flon, exactly in the middle of Canada, where the Flin Flon Fiesta, a four-day Summer event took place. A highlight of the festival was the 80-mile canoe race, with 22 entries, this year, and the best time was 13 hours, 29 minutes. The Flour Packing Contest is also a popular affair. How much flour can you carry on your back over a 50-yard course, that’s the question here. The winner goes home with all he can carry. This year it was Chicago Bill Kowal who packed over 600 pounds.
