MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Long Walk. DESCRIPTION: John O’Groats has never been so crowded before! Literally hundreds of hopeful, confident people got ready for the super-marathon. Planner, prize-giver and co-walker for a few of those thousand miles, was Mr Billy Butlin - No 13. Hundreds started. They knew it was a long, long way to Land’s End, but the money was right there!
