- Summary
- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Exhibition Time Boat Show and Schoolboys Exhibition. DESCRIPTION: (Boats). This ocean-going Catamaran was one of many craft actually afloat in the harbour at the National Boat Show. Another was the biggest motor cruiser at the Show - a 52-footer, with a telly, a tape-recorder and all the latest luxuries. There was also a rubber dinghy that’s inflatable in ten minutes and can be rowed, sailed or power driven. (Schoolboys). The Schoolboy’s Own Exhibition at Olympia is absolutely supersonic: it’s got all the latest rockets and everything. Trevor Bailey is there giving cricketers a few tips. And there were plenty of would-be Stirling Mosses and Jack Brabhams having a go in Go-Karts. SHOTLIST: GV catamaran. BS sail. GV catamaran. LS largest boat. MS woman in cabin. MS same.
