- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: War Hangover. DESCRIPTION: A big haul of poison gas bombs and shells have been taken from the Baltic Sea. It is poison gas that can paralyse the nerves. Manufactured by the Nazis during World War Two, it was dumped in the sea shortly before the surrender. Experts say it’s not safe in the Baltic, so they’re recovering all the shells they can find and re-packing them in special containers. The plan is to cement them into these containers and sink the lot. SHOTLIST: Pan - gas bombs being hoisted (2). GV on board. Pan - gas bombs being cemented. CU same. Pan - cement mixer and ‘chute.
