Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Churchill in Bronze. DESCRIPTION: Sir Winston Churchill arrived at Woodford to receive a rare honour. And, inspecting the Guard of Honour, Field Marshal Lord Montgomery was there to officiate. Few men see a statue of themselves unveiled, but Sir Winston is different. This statue is a tribute from the people of Wanstead and Woodford, whom Sir Winston has represented in Parliament for thirty-five years. Monty then made a speech to which Sir Winston replied.
