Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess in Sydney. DESCRIPTION: Princess Alexandra received the warmest of welcomes in Sydney. Red Cross Children offered their reception at the airport, and soon afterwards, Her Royal Highness was signing the visitor’s book at Sydney Town Hall. Next day, the Princess visited the National Fitness Council camp-site, not far from Sydney, where she had a friendly chat with Olympic sprinter Betty Cuthbert, and those famous swimmers, John and Ilsa Konrads.
