Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Channel Swim. DESCRIPTION: On the beach at Cap Nez, greasing-up for the big swim. There was Greta Anderson (twice a winner). Rough seas made the organisation of the start very difficult. Billy Butlin was there to start the race. This year’s winner proved to be Alfredo Camarero of Argentina - time eleven-hours, forty-eight.
