Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Wrestling. DESCRIPTION: These pictures show a wrestling match in the Sports Palace in Paris. One wrestler’s a Frenchman and the gentleman in the mask is an American. And it is a well-rehearsed performance that could fool anybody. SHOTLIST: Our film shows a catch contest which took place as the ‘Palais des Sports’ in Paris between the American ‘Homme Masque’ (man in the mask) and the French Delaporte. The ‘Man in the Mask’ was known before as ‘Zerro’. His fight with Delaporte lasted only sixteen minutes and ten seconds. The fight was rather tough. Finally, the man in the mask, was proclaimed winner over Delaporte with a knock out. Delaporte was not pleased with the result and showed his bad temper on a radio reporter.
