Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: English Runners’ Fine Win. DESCRIPTION: Nine countries, competing at Lisbon, including a strong English team in the cross-country race; a team from Wales; and the bonny lads from Scotland. A big field, and a tough race, made tougher still for the English by the weather. Frank Norris took the lead and no-one could overtake him.
