MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: London Fire. DESCRIPTION: Its the shopping centre at Ilford ablaze: a London fire that started after dark and quickly spread through the big stores. Some 50 fire engines were brought into service, but even so the fire wasn’t under control till after midnight. SHOTLIST: LS night scene - shops on fire. Another. SCU burning building. Another same.
