- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sir Winston Honoured. DESCRIPTION: Sir Winston Churchill arrived at Le Bourget from Nice, and was greeted by Sir Gladwyn Jebb (British Ambassador in France). At the Hotel Matignon, he met General de Gaulle who decorated Sir Winston with the Cross of the Liberations, a rare distinction. A big Cross of Lorraine, made of crystal, was accepted by Sir Winston who later, with Lady Churchill, called at the Elysee and was received by President Coty. SHOTLIST: LS plane arrives.
