Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cyprus Outrage. DESCRIPTION: Scenes in Famagusta, where the shooting of the wives of two British servicemen took place. Mrs Cutliffe died at once and Mrs Robinson was gravely wounded. An intensive search for the murderers began at once. Later at Mrs Cutliffe’s funeral in the military cemetery in Nicosia, wreaths represent the Security forces and all members of the British community were brought to the graveside.
