MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Dispatch From Jordan. DESCRIPTION: British Paratroops, flown to Jordan from Cyprus were quick to settle down. Hunter Jets of the Royal Air Force were also there, having acted as escorts to the air transports. Oil tankers of the United States Air Force have been flying in petrol and paraffin. Amman, the capital, saw the arrival of tribal chiefs at the royal palace. Presently, King Hussein came to meet them and to receive their expressions of loyalty.
