Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cross Country Race. DESCRIPTION: At San Sebastian in Spain, there was a field of nearly fifty runners, off on an international cross-country race, over 12,00 metres course - that’s about seven and a half miles. Zatopek of Czechoslovakia, led nearly all the way, and went on to win from Ameur (France) and Jurek (another Czech) by a decisive ten seconds. SHOTLIST: GV stadium. Shots of crowds. GS start of race.
