MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Preparations for Malayan Independence. DESCRIPTION: All the major buildings in Kuala Lumpur have been given a face-lift before the celebrations marking the Independence of the Federation of Malaya. It will be proclaimed on August 31st in the magnificent new stadium.
