MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The St Leger. DESCRIPTION: Doncaster was a big draw for the St Leger, the last of the Classics. Thousands saw the Queen walk along to the paddock. The race was won by the French colt Cambremer. SHOTLIST: TPS of crowds around the course. Shots of the Queen entering paddock and with her horse ‘High Veldt’. Views of the stands and horses at the start. Shots of racing, finish. Horses included:- ‘High Veldt’, ‘Pont Levis’ (the favourite), ‘Court Command’, ‘Talgo’, ‘Hornbeam’, ‘French Beige’ and Cambremer who was the winner, a French colt which was ridden by Fred Palmer.
