MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: White City Sports. DESCRIPTION: At White City the mile event was won by Ken Wood in 4 minutes 3.8. The 3,000 metres steeplechase was won by John Disley in 8 minutes 46.6. The three mile event marked another high spot, the focus was on Derek Ibbotson, who won the race in 13 minutes 28.2.
