Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Le Mans Car Race. DESCRIPTION: 49 cars began the 24 hour race at Le Mans, where special modifications had been made after last year’s tragedy. Jaguars won the race then, as they did in 1951 and 1953. Number 4, Jaguar of Ninian Sanderson and Ron Flockhart, the 4th Jaguar to win Le Mans at an average of 104.46 for the 24 hours.
