Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cyprus - Fire Aftermath. DESCRIPTION: The forest fire was still burning long after the frantic three minute flare up which trapped British servicemen and caused the tragic loss of nineteen lives. Meanwhile the main operation continued. The funeral of the men who had lost their lives in the fire was held in Waynes Keep Military Cemetery. Every unit serving in Cyprus was represented, in the solemn tribute to the nineteen lives. SHOTLIST: GV night shots forest fires burning (x6). Dissolve to day. CU tree burning. GV burnt out trees (x2). MCU two soldiers looking at burnt out vehicle. MS burnt out lorry (x2). MS and GV hooded terrorist leads patrol to hide out. 2 shots patrol through forest.
