Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cyprus Bulletin. DESCRIPTION: They call it Operation Kennet an intensive search for arms in the Kyrenia mountain range. The Governor of Cyprus recently paid a visit to the Royal Navy, at Famagusta. Entertaining the troops, Jimmy Edwards, Margaret Mitchell and Janet Brown. Jimmy himself had a narrow escape from a terrorist bomb. In Nicosia the scene after the shooting of a Turkish Cypriot, who had gone to the assistance of a Greek policeman.
