Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Soviet Tour. DESCRIPTION: Sailors from Soviet warships that brought Marshal Bulganin and Mr Khrushchev to Britain, have been sightseeing in London. The Cenotaph in Whitehall was included in the round London tour made by the Soviet Premier and the Communist Party Secretary, they also visited Number Ten Downing Street and the Soviet Embassy, where there was quite a reception party to greet them. They were followed by Britain’s Premier, who together with Ministers and ex-Ministers, had been invited to lunch. SHOTLIST: Various shots of sailors visiting the Karl Marx statue. CU of sailors.
