Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Australian Floods. DESCRIPTION: Flying round a radius of about fifty miles of Sydney, a cameraman made a survey of Australia’s latest floods. Disaster was on a wide scale. In the space of twenty four hours, over twelve inches of rain was recorded. SHOTLIST: Aerial shot of floods in Australia. Over 12 inches of rain was recorded, within 24 hours. Power station roof. Cars under water. Houses under water. Rescue boats. Women, babies etc. out of houses. Land Rover. Man pushing bike. Land scenes. Police directing traffic. Boy and girl on trolley.
