The ceremony at Parliament Hill begins with an inspection of the Foot Guard in full dress. SHOTLIST: KS GV Ottawa Houses of Parliament. CU state carriages draws up and Governor General Vincent Massey steps down. MS he inspects foot guards outside Houses of Parliament. CU and MS Governor General leads members in. CU members file in to listen to annual governmental message. CU mace bearer and mace leads Governor General and members into Senate chamber. CU and MS Governor General reads speech to members. GV hall.
