Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jewish Ex Service Remembrance Parade. DESCRIPTION: About four thousand Jewish Ex-Service men and women were on Horse Guards Parade, when Sir Gerald Templer inspected their ranks, this annual Remembrance Parade was followed by the paying of a tribute at the Cenotaph. SHOTLIST: GV Cenotaph and parade march past. GV parade lined up on Horse Guards Parade. CU Sir Gerald Templer inspects the parade. CU he talks to one of the flag bearers, a woman. CU District signs ie London Taxi Drivers, Stamford Hill etc. CU Jewish chaplin conducts service from rostrum. SCU flags being lowered as ‘Last Post’ is played. CU march past saluting base. CU Templer takes the salute. SCU a wreath is laid at the Cenotaph by Lieutenant Gould and Lieutenant Sharpe.
