DESCRIPTION: At St George’s Cathedral in Addis Ababa, a Thanksgiving Service was held, it was one of the main events of the celebration of Emperor Haile Selassie’s Silver Jubilee. SHOTLIST: GV parade along the streets leading to the Cathedral. LS Cathedral. CU Bishop and guard of honour await arrival. SCU coach arrives at Cathedral. SCU Selassie and Empress enter Cathedral and take their seats. SCU Bishop offers the bible and they both kiss it. SCU the coach leaves the cathedral and the procession begins. CU escort of Lancers. CU natives with drums.
