- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Tour of Wales. DESCRIPTION: The Royal tour of Wales began at Brecon, where Her Majesty was received by the Lord Lieutenant for the county of Breconshire. At Trecastle, Her Majesty unveiled a commemorative plaque at the Swansea Corporation’s new Usk Reservoir. Later, the Queen and the Duke attended Divine Service at St David’s Cathedral. On the next day her Majesty and the Duke went to Aberystwyth to open the newly completed central block of the National Library. SHOTLIST: LS of a band welcoming the Queen to the Brecons.
