Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Us Jet Catapult. DESCRIPTION: In California, special boosters are used to launch a Thunderjet from a mobile truck. SHOTLIST: GV Thunderjet mounted on a launching platform, followed by a closer shot, with pilot just closing cabin hood preparatory to take-off. Take-off is then followed by camera and shows the launching rocket dropping off the fuselage once the fighter is airborne.
