MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: El Alamein Memorial. DESCRIPTION: Built near the front line of the famous battle of Alamein, the new memorial is a part of the cemetery and takes the form of Cloisters. The ceremony of unveiling was performed by Field Marshal Lord Montgomery and veterans of the battle were present to pay homage to fallen comrades.
