MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Exercise Run Aground. DESCRIPTION: At Eastney, the beach was used for the demonstration of amphibious landings before observers of the three services and NATO. SHOTLIST: Cut story - Beach at Eastney. Frogmen out of water. Tanks out of LTs onto beach. Mine clearing tank on beach. Planes strafing. Marines land and run up beach. Planes strafing VG shots. Helicopter with man hanging. CU Sir Roderick McGrigor watching. Troops fire rocket hooks to top of cliff. Men climbing cliffs with rope. Life affair hooked up. Men descending cliff very fast by rope.
