Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Shah Returns to Persia. DESCRIPTION: First reports of Dr Mossadeq having won a victory were quickly reversed when, from Tehran came news that the Royalist coup had been successful after all. The Shah returned to Persia by air from the short stay in Rome, after the news of the arrest of the premier. SHOTLIST: Cut story - (This is actually the arrival of the Shah in Rome although it was used as his departure). Shots of Shah’s plane. Luggage being taken from car.
