Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Coronation Preparations. DESCRIPTION: In London, expert jewellers have been at work re-modelling the Imperial State Crown. The restoration of the State Coach has been another very important job. Meanwhile, the route itself has been transforming the appearance of London’s West End. The Royal Mews, the eight Windsor Greys with their Postilions and Walking Grooms have been rehearsing their part the great occasion. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Jeweller working. CU various parts of the Imperial State crown. Jewellers cleaning and re-modelling same. CU Crown and parts of same. State Coach being cleaned and restored.
