MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News From India & Pakistan. DESCRIPTION: Mr Aneurin Bevan, on his visit to India, was entertained in New Delhi by the President, Dr Rajendra Prasad. On some of his visit, Mr Bevan was accompanied by Lady Cripps. In Karachi, a smart parade marked the handing over of Command of the Royal Pakistan Navy from Vice-Admiral Jefford to Rear-Admiral Chaudri. SHOTLIST: Cut story - New Delhi - KS. A Bevan & Lady Mountbatten stand in entrance to building. Interior - CU Bevan & Dr Prasad seated at latter’s residence. Bevan, Lady Cripps walk round admiring the ruins of Kutab Minar. In Karachi - GV parade, Pakistan sailors marchpast, Admiral Jefford takes salute with Rear Admiral Chaudri. CU former. Jefford rowed in a whaler, arriving at ship, & boarding same. GV parade on quayside.
