MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News Briefs - Sway of Battle in Indo-China. DESCRIPTION: Paratroops have recently been very prominent in the fighting in Indo-China - a reconnaissance force was dropped ten miles South West of the air strip at Na Sam. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Over camera paratroops dropping from plane. Ditto. Troops in camouflaged clothes on the march through rough country. GV of troops gathered in valley. Troops sitting on ground eating. Local people approach. CU type of girl. People eating some of the troops food. Troops on march again, with locals watching them. MS ambush, small explosion, wounded being carried through undergrowth. CU wounded being attended. Troops fire US carbines, also small cannons.
