MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugger - England V Wales. DESCRIPTION: At Cardiff Arms Park. Wales met England in the Rugby International. Wales were favourites and they had not lost to England since 1947. England were determined to win - and they did, by 8 points to 3. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Artists impression of Rugby football with goal in background. Wales kick off. England attacking. England in white. Ken Jones sprints up wing, loses ball and penalty goal kicked by Davies of Wales. Scoreboard 3-0. England attacking hard. Regan passes to Bazley who passes it to Cannell who dives over for try, Hall converts. Half time. Men eat lemons and drink. England kick off. Ken Jones attacking again, but ball cleared by Sykes for England. England attacking, Bazley makes strong bid. Woodward kicks penalty. Score England - 8, Wales - 3. Jones tries to get through but loses ball with faulty pass from Thomas.
