DESCRIPTION: It was a bleak December day when the first battalion, the Middlesex Regiment (the Diehards) marched through central London to Horse Guards Parade. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Regiment march round Queen Victoria Memorial. Down the Mall, onto Horse Guards, various shots of them being inspected by Lord Latham, also presents silver bugles. Various shots of marchpast, Lord Latham taking the salute.
