MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Women in Winter Olympics. DESCRIPTION: Two British competitors are seen among the competitors in the slalom race at Oslo, they were Hilary Laing and Sheena Macintosh. Britain’s big triumph there was by Jeannette Altwegg who clinched her figure-skating victory with a brilliant display of free skating. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Crowds make their way up mountain for games. Various shots of Slalom for women, shows various competitors, some falling, etc. Elevated GV of some finishing course. CU of two Hilary Laing & Sheena Mackintosh.
