- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Surprise Packet Operations. DESCRIPTION: General Sir Brian Robertson and many other senior commanders attended the biggest exercise held in the United Kingdom since the war. The mock battle raged over eight countries and was watched at one stage by Field Marshal Montgomery. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Infantryman with rifle pointed at camera, swinging rifle. GV caravan in field. SCU & CU Sir Brian Robertson. SCU of foreigner army officers. Lt General Dudley Ward walks towards helicopter, climbs into same. Helicopter takes off; in sky. Aerial shots of army manoeuvres, tanks, infantry, convoys on roads etc. Centurian tanks on move. Infantrymen run across bridge past camera. Vampires fly overhead. Cut-in soldier fires Bren-gun at same. Wreckage of Vampire in field. Soldier jumps stream lying down firing, several shots. Infantry run through farm, geese scatter. Soldier looks at turkey. CU big head of a turkey. Night shots of Centurian tanks on move, also Centurians at day move across fields firing their guns. Montgomery walks with Captain Pond. Monty with other high officials looking at maps. Cut-in after crash at Stonehenge.
