- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: All the Fun of the Fair. DESCRIPTION: In spite of the weather for most of the holiday, people went to Battersea Fun-Fair in vast numbers. Some took their pleasure sedately on the boating lake, but the wilder forms of sport seemed to be the main attraction for most people. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS Visitors seated at table having tea. Elevated GV of fun-fair. Crowds queuing to get onto various pleasures. Various shots of people on boating lake. People walk through avenue of stalls. MS Boomerang - tubs swirling round & being released at speed, people shrieking, etc. Several shots of Big Dipper, also shots taken on same, while in motion. Sign Far Tottering MS Emmetts railway. Sign Oyster Creek salesman selling rock. Mexicans walk through park eating Candy Floss. GV Rotor entrance, crowds in fore. Underneath camera - people of rotor (stuck to the wall of same). People in gallery watching same. GV circular (windmill) slide. Various shots of jet planes revolving. Also shots taken while jet planes are in motion, turning over etc.
